About Me
My name is Julian Engle. I am a Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. There, I studied Film and Television Production with a concentration in Creative Producing and a minor in Animation, which has led me to understand both the creative and operational sides of any given production process.
Throughout my education and experience, I’ve not only gained technical proficiency in many aspects of the entertainment world, but have also picked up all the necessary soft skills to make a highly functioning production.
My goal as a content producer, or in any role I fill on any set is to make the jobs of the people around me easier. I see myself doing just that not only on set, but in my everyday life. If I can do anything, especially proactively, to make the lives of the people around me that much easier, that much less stressful, and that much more fun, I’ll do just that.
I thrive in collaborative and fast paced environments, valuing diverse perspectives in the room that can come together to create something great. Whether it’s working with one team, or working in between multiple, I’ve always understood the importance of clear communication, organization, and teamwork in achieving any final product.
Although my time in a classroom is over, I will never stop learning from the people around me. I’m currently a Disney College Program participant where I’m making magic everyday as a PhotoPass Photographer in the Magic Kingdom. I’m always looking forward to the opportunities presented to me so I can not only meet but exceed the expectations of my peers and mentors, bringing new perspectives to the table everyday.
I’m driven by the idea of creating content that people didn’t even know they needed. My goal is to craft work that sparks imagination and inspires new possibilities. I believe the best content isn’t just something you consume—it’s something that ignites ideas, fuels creativity, and pushes boundaries. It’s only when people experience what I create that they begin to realize how it can be utilized, and that’s the magic I strive to deliver.
Whether it's through photography, video, or creative design, my work is designed to make people think differently. I want to help bring your visions to life in unexpected ways, showing you how content can be a powerful tool in storytelling, engagement, and transformation.
My Passions
Beyond the world of media production, I hold a deep passion for all things motorsports. You may have seen me as a USAC Flag Marshal at circuits around America, working customer service while you were entering the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, or taking your picture at any of the latest Red Bull Show Runs, or even if you were on the podium at Road America.
As a spectator as well as being in many roles for many years, I’ve found myself with not just a passion for the sport, but a desire to contribute to the motorsport community. Inspired by my experiences on the track, I love seeking roles within motorsport media motorsport production teams. I love bringing the same sense of intensity and innovation that is found on track to motorsport fans around the world. Whether I’m behind a camera or trackside with a flag, motorsports continue to shape and inspire my journey.
In addition to my passion for motorsports, I have a deep love for photography. I’m constantly searching for new moments to capture—whether it’s during breaks, days off, or in between projects. Every opportunity is a chance to shoot something I find inspiring or interesting. Photography is more than just a medium for me; it’s a way to document and share the stories and emotions I experience in the world. The lens is my tool for finding beauty in the details and framing the moments that otherwise might go unnoticed.
Along with my passion for media production and motorsports, I also hold a strong love for traveling. Traversing across the world has become an integral source of inspiration for how I tell stories. The diverse experiences and perspectives I’ve gained through my travels seem to find their way into my work ethic and inspire many creative aspects of the projects I work on.
From spending more than a year of my life in Paris, a spur of the moment trip to Bahrain, and visiting family in Copenhagen, each of these experiences has only fueled my creative spirit. Each place I visit tells a unique story, opening my eyes to new cultures, cuisines, and landscapes, shaping not only who I am as a storyteller, but who I am as a person.
